One of my best friends and roommates got engaged and is getting married in a little over a month. Sooo soon!! I was still able to throw her an elegant and fun shower.
I first found out the amount of guests expected and the colors she would like for flowers etc. Then I chose one of her favorite restaraunts as the location. TIP : when choosing a restaraunt be sure it has a private room available so guests can socialize and you can play games if you choose. That way you'll have a place to put the gifts as well.
After figuring out the guest list I ordered a darling invitation from
the social collection from Carlson Craft.

The favors came next. I chose to order sugar cookies with the bride and groom's names on them from one of my favorite bakeries. I put the favors in white chinese take-out boxes lined with designer napkins and a solid colored napkin in aqua. In the box I also included pink buttermints and wedding dress favors filled with m&ms and silver covered jordan almonds.

For the centerpieces I used 2 -6" round vases holding a short, white pillar candle with stemless off -white daisies (her fave) surrounding the candle. I placed these on silver doiles. I also used helium filled balloons in her colors tied to a gigantic wedding ring. Talk about bling! Everyone loved trying on the ring.
